Shadow Seeker by Diyang Zhou
Shadow Seeker [1]
The one who seeks the shadows looks for the sun first
In the corner of the walls, behind the bottles, by the bush
lack of continuities, discontinuities,
The existence of shadows relies on the existence of the light
But the strange thing is
Humans can seek the shadows, i.e. their reflections, from someone else
that are not from the sunlight
Everyone reflects part of me,
Even though the sum of the reflections of everyone
is not “I”
[1] The word “影子” means both shadows and reflections in Chinese
