Dreamer

By Tiffany Han, aged 16

Melted was the glaze of ice,

As diamonds turned to mist,

they called it a sacrifice.

Shattered was the coat of glass,

As crystals turns to dust,

They said it was immodest.

The star burns through his last breath,

And leaves the world purified,

They saw dynamites,

Because they,

can never be satisfied.

Striking out the candlelight,

They take the enchantment,

Leaving all less glorified,

So that they are the only ones

To shine.

Staring at the painted sky,

all I could see,

pale pink glow,

Mist, dust,

Light, dawn.

sparkling in the greenery,

in the last glaze of ice,

not yet shattered.

I am not a romantic,

only a dreamer.
